Canadian Banks

This one was a lot of work, but really fun, these guys are not good and this topic has been a long running one for me.

I was chatting with Drummer Brother yesterday about this piece in CBC which talks about 1000 bank employees writing into CBC about how they are getting pressured to bump credit cards up, trick people into bad loans, hide good advice etc.

This is Canada, one of the worlds outstanding societies. What a great place to live! As a group we're a trusting and kind people that defines ourselves as being a little bit more teamworky and kind than the United States. So it's not a surprise that so many citizens felt bad, were disturbed and did what they could to say something. The fact that our political class ignores this stuff decade after decade tells me where the real problem is here.

By design our government does not represent us well and Canada deserves better.
