Covid Out

I'm going to stop updating the covid spreadsheet today but it's not really because the feds now have time tracked data on their site.
It's mainly because being trapped inside by the rain while constantly refreshing the weather app has become extremely boring and unproductive. Tracking numbers every day while trying to make reason of them is starting to remind me of day-trading. I suspect it both makes you feel worse and is a waste of time.
Analysis after the is over will produce game changing results in every field from biology to sociology, but I'm starting to see diminishing returns and possibly even a downside to the wall-to-wall media cycle. I don't want to contribute to it anymore and never really did.
For now this channel and my analytical energy is going to focus on the world beyond this blip. Getting back into housing policy, transit projects and converting abandoned buildings. I hope talking about things like electric scooter policy is a refreshing snippet of discussion from the future, your future.
